I didn't know fish maw was expensive until just last night when I was talking to my mom. hehehe..how ignorant of me. I always assumed it was cheap food because it doesn't look the least bit expensive to me like abalone or mussles or prawns! So I wanted to have egg drop soup along with the fish maw, but I ended up being too lazy to do that. So I settled with miso and noodles. Threw in the fish maw and some veggies as well. And ta-daaaa! I have myself my dinner. :D And at my side, I have some express kimchi. Just blanched savvoy tossed in vinegar, soy and korean red pepper paste. Simple and yet so contenting. :D
