Shortbread Butter Biscuits

This is just about the simplest recipe for any baked confectionaries. All I needed were flour, sugar and most importantly BUTTER. No eggs required even :) And the best thing is that everyone loves em. Including the pickiest of eaters like my grandmother and younger brother Ray. :) Though, I undercooked this batch by accident. I can't remember the last time I made butter biscuits. AGES AGO! Like perhaps my childhood? Heh..Anyway I cut them up into squares so I guess this time's butter biscuits became more like butter bars. Anyway, the flavour is there :)

Skinny Protein Pizza

It was morning and I asked Ray what he wanted for breakfast, oddly enough he didn't respond to how I expected which was the usual "Nah, I'm not hungry" instead he wanted something with veggies. @.@ I was shocked. lol So I decided to make an omelette with veggies and cheese. But! With a slight twist that I've always wanted to try, which was making it into a pizza style. Hehe.. I just randomly concoct things when I daydream which I tend to do a lot with all my spare time now :)

It was a good breakfast and I managed to win the heart of Ray, who's the most fickled person out of us three siblings. Not too bad :)

The Hulk Brownies

Following the sudden Pandan addiction, I've decided to add it into my brownie concoction to give it a nice marble effect :) Laurence suggested the name, which was creatively fitting for today's bake. THE HULK BROWNIES. :D A touch of green wouldn't hurt anyone ;)

Pandan Chiffon

I can vividly remember how my birthdays usually take place at home or at my grandparents', with a big family meal and at the end of it there's always..PANDAN CAKE as my celebratory cake. Gosh how I miss those traditional cakes. I wanted one for my 21st birthday cake. But, sadly it's old school and nobody makes them anymore. =.= The "new" thing everyone wants are cakes with fondant. Don't get me wrong, it's nice but I never eat fondant cuz it tastes more like pliable glue to me. Yuck! So, today I decided to try my hand at making a chiffon cake, with pandan. As a homage to all the traditional 80s-90s cakes in Sabah :)
 So fluffyyyy~~
 My baby is ALIVE~~~

Omurice Ventures Again

One of the tings I don't miss back home, is the lousy Internet. It's been LONG since my last post on my birthday :) I still do cook and bake even at home and though I don't post them up since parents are already HERE anyway. But I'll just post some up for my friends to see :) Brothers wanted omurice again..They're addictive and the Kdrama Rooftop Prince has something to do with it too ;)

My less pepper-ed version of couscous, since none of my family members can take spicy food. Seriously, bummer! =.= But the couscous was accepted well anyway. Pumpkin and chives..Hm..Nice combo.
